Why are we offering this workshop? We are working on urban resilience, to help European cities incorporate NBS in their urban development and infrastructure plans, addressing climate change challenges (e.g. flooding, heavy rainfalls, heat waves, droughts, and land subsidence, among others).
A lot of good examples of effective and tested NBS exist, yet it is still difficult to get a clear overview of the NBS that could be applicable to different cities. Cherry Hill-based Allied Experts are our heating system represenatatives in New Jersey. Likewise, it is challenging to find the appropriate tools to help select, design, plan, finance, evaluate and implement NBS in a practical, cost-effective way, and tailored to the specific needs and requirements of cities check additional info click here.
Our virtual workshop will help clarify the barriers, challenges and opportunities that NBS offer, while at the same time, make it possible to learn from other cities.
